In 2020, standing in a London flat surrounded by products that promised everything but delivered little, our founder—a biotechnologist who had spent years engineering solutions at a molecular level—realised the answer was nowhere on the shelf.
That question sparked two years of in-house research. No consultants. No third-party labs. Just our founder and his team, testing ingredients across diverse hair patterns, measuring penetration depths, and documenting how the same molecule behaves on 2b waves versus 4c coils. We learned that Babassu oil penetrates Type 4 differently than Argan oil. That Tremella mushroom holds 500x its weight in water without weighing down fine Type 1 hair. That biology doesn't follow marketing rules.
